Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!

First full week in the new office for Team Tellwell! What did we get up to? Let’s see!

This week’s writer

Hey readers, it’s Kari! I’m the video content specialist here at Tellwell and I have the pleasure of writing this week’s plog. As part of the film team, I conduct interviews, direct talent, write storylines, and so much more! Let’s get into it!

Inaugural team lunch 🍝

The Tellwellians had their first team lunch in the news space! To break in the new digs, we used the kitchen to its fullest potential – making lasagnas and garlic bread!

We gathered around the same island, just in a new location. We can’t wait to see what new memories are made in this space!

A woman stands in a kitchen as she cuts slices of lasagna. There are two lasagnas, one smaller and one larger. There is also a tray of garlic bread to the side. The woman is wearing a blue shirt with a floral cardigan, jeans and sandals. She is smiling in the photo.

A bit more moving 📦

Last week, we moved all the office gear into the new space: this week, the film team grabbed all our gear for the new studio! We are so excited to get everything set up and ready for film days in our new (and much larger) studio. Keep an eye out for more studio & office space updates!

Out & around town 🎉

We had several teammates attending events all around town this week!

Annie and Jenny attended TEDxFargo on Wednesday at Brewhalla! This year’s theme was “Thread”, with the idea that “every idea, every experience, and every connection we make is a thread in the larger fabric of our lives”.

Here at Tellwell, we couldn’t agree more. We have the opportunity to take Story Maker’s threads and weave them together to tell their story. Sometimes, we are the thread that is stitching all the details together. With open minds and eager attitudes, these two took away so much from this event!

Two women smile for a selfie together. They are both wearing lanyards, suggesting they are at a corporate event. One woman wears a pin on her hat that reads “TEDxFargo” while she holds a cup of coffee. They are in an industrial looking room, with the words “Magic Factory" on the wall behind them.

On the same day, a few teammates made their way over to Freedom Resource Center for their open house! FRC is doing amazing work empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and to fully participate in their communities. We love showing up for our Story Makers, and in addition, we recently launched their brand design – so exciting!

That wraps up this week! Keep an eye out for our next plog, coming August 1st!
