This week, we had plenty of filming and the start of a fun new October challenge. Let’s get into it!

Hey readers, it’s Kari! I’m the video content specialist here at Tellwell and I have the pleasure of writing this week’s plog. As part of the film team, I conduct interviews, direct talent, write storylines, and so much more! Enough about me, let’s get into the plog!

Filming, interviewing, and B-rolling, oh my!

This week, the film team had a film shoot with locations ranging from the Tellwell studio, to traveling deeper into North Dakota!

This film brought us to Casselton, ND and will highlight the good work nonprofit organizations are doing throughout our state.

Along with travel came some filming in the studio! We love trying out new backdrops for interviews, and we are stoked with how this one turned out! Keep an eye out for more information on this project in the future.

Inktober begins!

What is Inktober you might ask? Let’s dive into it! Inktober is a 31 day challenge spanning the month of October that helps improve inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. To simplify, it’s a fun drawing challenge with daily prompts that helps you explore your creativity!

We have several Tellwellians (Senior Design Strategist Sandie, Graphic Designer Jen, and Lead Editor Matt) who are participating in Inktober and this Thursday was their first meeting! They shared their sketches with each other and talked about their creative processes. This week’s prompts were backpack, discover, boots, and exotic. Participants are able to interpret these prompts however they want: here are a few of the sketches from this week!

Young Professionals Summit

On Thursday, Project Manager Megan attended the Young Professionals Summit hosted by the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber. This event was filled with interactive sessions and workshops, provided skill development, meaningful networking and exposure to key resources in our region. Such a great day filled with opportunity and education!

Tellwell Sticker Club

Did you know we have a sticker club? Well now you do!
