A nightmare to remember 🪩
Last weekend, the Plains Art Museum held their annual spring gala and we had quite a few Tellwellians in attendance! This year’s theme was Nightmare At The Museum — bringing a bit of spooky to this season. There were themed snacks, dancing, and art auctions throughout the night. Our team had fun with the theme in their outfits as well! We also created the promo for this event, check it out below!
Turning a new page ☀️
One of our Story Makers is starting a new chapter for their organization and we are so excited to see it come to be. The same dedication, the same mission, just a renewed approach.
Sollera — previously The Rape & Abuse Crisis Center — has rebranded. They realized that many might have seen their name as a barrier for them. Maybe they didn’t think it applied to their experience, maybe they thought they weren’t in an immediate crisis, or they thought they just wouldn’t qualify. Changing the name creates a more inclusive, approachable space for those who need support.
With this name change came a new website, brought to you by our design & web teams. This site was built with intentionality and care and we are proud to be part of this exciting change.
And to top off all this great news, they are moving into a new facility! Recently, we were given a tour of the space and an in-depth look into the intentional changes and design. We are thrilled for Sollera and their whole team for this shift and the exciting next steps, check out their new website here!
A refreshing event with AAF-ND ✨
AAF-ND hosted the final speaker event of the season and it ended with a bang (well, maybe a sparkle). Liquid Death is a water company that makes everything from still & sparkling water, energy drinks, teas, and more all with the mission of bringing death to single use plastic.
Andy Pearson, VP of Creative at Liquid Death, shared their take on standard marketing methods, why they take risks, and why thinking outside the box can be a winning bet. It was so fun to learn about the thought process behind several popular campaigns they’ve created!
Hopping on the event train 🚂
Thursday was a busy day for Team Tellwell and our Story Makers!
To start out the morning, a few of us attended the FirstLink Annual Breakfast. It was a morning of education, hope and connection all in the name of mental health and suicide prevention. We learned about how upstream hope is one of the best ways to prevent crises from keynote speaker Dr. Sally Spender-Thomas. Following her presentation, they premiered the impact film we created for this event. This film highlights the work of local businesses and how they bring workplace wellness into their offices each and every day.
After breakfast was lunch! A few more joined for the Freedom Resource Center Appreciation Luncheon. During this event, we helped celebrate advocates, employers and community leaders who are actively supporting disability rights. Along with recognizing the great work of this organization and the people who support them, we got to see their logo refresh in person! Team Tellwell designed this refresh a few months ago with the intention of keeping some old elements and combining it with something new. So fun to see it in the real world!
Filming! 🎥
The film team was across the state in Watford City for a few days of filming!
Here, they are featuring a local hospital and their excellent oncology department. This project will be featuring several patient stories and we are honored to have been welcomed into their homes, their lives, and their journeys. We’re excited to bring these films to life!
That wraps up this week! Keep an eye out for our next plog, coming May 15th!
