This week’s writer

Hey readers, it’s Kari! I’m the video content specialist here at Tellwell and I have the pleasure of writing this week’s plog. As part of the film team, I conduct interviews, direct talent, write storylines, and so much more! Let’s get into it!

Events on events on events! ⛳️ 🐉

We were a busy bunch, attending several community events this week!

On Tuesday, Max, Duncan, Megan, and John attended the RMHC Golf Tournament and got to spend the day on the green. We love the work RMHC does and are always proud to support them through design & film work, attending events, and creating deeper connections.

A man wearing a white hat, black polo, and khaki shorts holds a gold club. He is preparing to hit the golf ball. The grass is green and the sky is bright blue with few clouds.

At the same time, another group of Tellwellians attended the Minnesota State Moorhead – State of the University. We have loved the work we do with Moorhead, including making the videos shown at this event. With a more cinematic & dramatic feel to these videos, it was so fun to see how they worked into the program. We are so proud to be a part of the first ever State of the University, make sure to check out all six videos here! Roll Drags!

On Friday morning, Jen, Sandie, Jenny, and Annie all headed over to CreativeMornings! This week’s featured speaker was our friend Kelly Krenzel, founder & executive director of Hope Blooms. This group came back to the office with full hearts and some new inspiration, what a fun way to finish off the week!

Lights, camera, baseball ⚾️

On Wednesday, we spent our afternoon at the Newman Outdoor Field, home of the RedHawks! We set up the interview in the stadium seats and got lucky that the rain held off (phew). For this project, we are highlighting the fundraising efforts that go towards an amazing local organization. With more filming to come, keep an eye out for this project!

A woman sits in the stands of a mostly empty stadium, smiling as she is filmed for an interview. Professional cameras and microphones are set up in front of her, with crew members operating the equipment. Rows of green stadium seats and part of the concourse are visible in the background.

Get on our lawn! 🍃

Exciting updates in the backyard – we got grass!!

Despite the rain, Max made sure to test it out and he has confirmed it is soft and the perfect lawn to prance in. We can’t wait to soak up the last bit of nice weather!

A man wearing a black rain jacket and orange backpack jumps with his arms raised. He is on a lawn with gravel in the background. There are two cars parked on the gravel and a large black warehouse as well.

Three smiling people taking a selfie indoors. Behind them is a large red chart on the wall showing ice cream cones stacked with numbers from 10 to 15. The man in the middle, wearing glasses and a tan shirt, is pointing excitedly at the cone labeled 12. The woman in front is holding the camera and smiling widely, and another woman with long red hair is smiling next to the man.
