Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!

The curtains rose, the lights hit just right, and the team stepped into a brand new era — office edition. Join us backstage for an inside look at a week that was part Bejeweled, part Mastermind, and 100% Tellwell magic. 💫🎤

A group of eleven smiling people stand together in a modern office with white walls, a staircase, and a glass garage-style door. Everyone is casually dressed, and they pose closely as a team.

This week’s writer

It’s me, hi – I’m the Design PM, it’s me! I’m Megan, an “Eldest Daughter” and the project manager for Tellwell’s design & web teams, turning chaos into choreography one timeline at a time. I partner with our web strategist and graphic designers to take every idea from “Enchanted” to “Ready for It?” From “Mirrorball” moments to “Death By a Thousand Deadlines,” I help keep our strategy and design magic on beat and on time. Whether we’re launching a site or just surviving a Monday, this is The Life of a Project Manager – Megan’s Version.

**As the self-proclaimed office Swiftie, it was my inherent duty to Taylor Swift-ify this week’s plog in tandem with “The Life of a Showgirl” release day.

Act 1: Mastermind

We kicked off the week with our staff meeting, opening on a track that’s all about knowing ourselves so we can shine brighter together. During the meeting, we flipped through our Operator’s Manuals, living, breathing documents that are kind of like our own “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).” They hold the lyrics of who we are: how we work best, the strengths we own like a crown, and the growing edges we’re still learning to dance with. The thing is.. how we show up matters, but the real magic happens when we know each other’s rhythms and can keep the whole band in sync. ✨🎶

Four people sit around white tables in a conference room. A woman leads the discussion while gesturing beside a large screen that displays text and icons. Others listen with laptops, notebooks, and drinks in front of them.
A collection of colorful graphics and notes, including a page with handwritten doodles, a retro-style design titled “My Growing Edges,” and a diagram about communication and feedback.

Act II: Change

The Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting was our very own “are you ready for it?” moment — with a hard deadline of Oct. 2 at 4:00pm. It’s been a long time coming, and nothing motivates like a countdown to showtime. It was all hands on deck, with picture frames going up, grass trimming, hanging shelves, and prepping every corner of our space to be Bejeweled and ready for its debut. ✨🎀

PS. Are you sick of me yet? I’m having too much fun.

Inside a high-ceilinged black-walled space, one person works on a ladder while another sits on a chair near the wall, attaching black acoustic panels. Cardboard pieces and boxes are scattered across the floor.
A woman in a dark shirt and shorts pushes a bright green lawnmower across a grassy area outside. Behind him are parked cars, a large tree, and an industrial-style building.
Two people arrange award plaques on a tall blue wall inside a modern office. One person leans out from an upstairs railing to place a plaque on a high shelf, while another stands below watching. The wall is lined with rows of trophies and awards, with a large number '8' displayed among them. A photography light and studio setup are visible in the room.

Act III: …Ready For It?

The spotlight was on this week! We hit record in our film studio for ND Afterschool Network (all the camera flashes and mirrorball vibes), while our very own Chief of Staff Annie Wood took the mic on a panel at the North Dakota Recreation & Park Association State Conference, serving Fearless energy on Marketing, Events, & Programming. Behind the curtain, our largest magazine got the green light to head to print (long live the big wins!), and strategy sessions kept the setlist strong.

A woman wearing sunglasses and a mustard yellow top smiles for a selfie outside a building. A green sign beside her reads “Welcome to NDRPA Campers! We’re so glad you’re here!”

Act IV: Long Live

Over 200 people joined us to celebrate the grand reopening of Tellwell Story Co. in Fargo at Campsite Four, and the whole night felt enchanted to meet you. The FMWF Chamber kicked things off with a ribbon cutting that was very Begin Again energy, and from there the building was alive with conversation, celebration, and joy. What started as a vision from Chief Storyteller Max Kringen and Director of Production Duncan Williamson now shines like it’s Bejeweled, a space built for stories and ready for its Forever & Always era. ✨🎀

A colorful wall sign above reads 'Great stories happen to those who can tell them.' The space features couches, decor, and a kitchenette in the background.
A crowd of people stand in an office space, watching something off-camera. Many hold phones to capture the moment. A staircase and mezzanine level are visible above them.
Thank you for an unforgettable week
We will see you next time (October 10th)
