Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!

The film team’s schedules were jam packed, the kickballers of Tellwell wrapped their season, and the office experienced a silly snafu. Let’s see what we were up to this week!

In this photo, a group of seven people is standing around a kitchen island in a bright, casual office environment, smiling and holding decorated cookies. A man at the back is carrying multiple boxes of donuts. The atmosphere looks cheerful and friendly.

This week’s writer

Hey readers, it’s Kari! I’m the video content specialist here at Tellwell and I have the pleasure of writing this week’s plog. As part of the film team, I conduct interviews, direct talent, write storylines, and so much more!

Film team on the move

What a week! The film team had several days of filming this week, let’s see what they were up to!

On Tuesday, a small group made their way out to Kindred, ND to capture the beautiful sunset on a local farm that will be used for some commercials!

In this photo, a professional camera is resting on the ground on what appears to be a farm field. A tractor is harvesting corn in the background. It is sunset, which showcases the yellow fields and blue sky.
A man is standing in a field of corn, facing the crops and holding a corn cob in his hand as he examines it. There is a solar flair through the field and it appears to be sunset.

On Thursday, we made our way to YWCA Cass Clay to create short form videos bringing light to Week Without Violence, a week to raise awareness and engage action to end the broad spectrum of violence. This week runs from October 21-26th. Keep an eye out for these videos in the near future!

A woman is seated in front of a light green backdrop as part of a video production setup. She is facing a camera that is mounted on a tripod, with a microphone and a large umbrella light positioned nearby for optimal sound and lighting. The camera's display screen shows her image in focus as she prepares for filming. The setting appears to be an office or conference room, with "YWCA" signage visible in the background.

A bright umbrella light and a softbox are positioned to illuminate her, and a microphone is hanging overhead on a boom arm. The camera on a tripod captures her image, while a crew member wearing headphones stands to the left, monitoring the scene. The background features "YWCA" signage, indicating the location is part of a YWCA facility.

Stripes Day and the donut snafu

This past Tuesday was Show Your Stripes Day for RMHC! This is a day for the community to show their support for the local Ronald McDonald house, who happens to be one of our Story Makers. To support this wonderful day, we bought a dozen donuts from Sandy’s Donuts (who share a portion of the sales with RMHC).

Well were we in for a surprise when we didn’t just get twelve donuts, but twelve BOXES showed up at our office Tuesday morning! We let Sandy’s Donuts know about the mix up, and luckily they told us to find good homes for the other eleven boxes.

A woman is leaning her arms and chin on top of a stack of orange boxes from Sandy's Donuts in a kitchen area. She is smiling and posing behind about a dozen donut boxes stacked in two columns. The background shows black cabinets and some colorful posters on the wall, creating a fun and lively atmosphere.

We ended up going around the community and sharing the Stripes Day surprise with some of our other local clients. Why not spread some joy to others on such an amazing day?

Here we are at the end of the week, still laughing about this situation. We are always ready to help support our Story Makers, and RMHC is an amazing one.

A close-up of four hands holding donuts with white icing and red drizzle, appearing to "cheers" them together in a celebratory gesture. The scene takes place on a light-colored countertop, and there’s a paper towel roll in the background, giving a casual, fun feel to the moment.

A Tellwell anniversary!

This Thursday was Lead Project Manager Lucas’s 2nd Tellwell birthday! To celebrate, we gave him a birthday hat and made him this super cool poster to remember this day. Being able to celebrate our people is always so much fun, and we appreciate everything he does for us. Thank you, Lucas!

A man with glasses and a beard sits at a desk in a cubicle of an office. There is a computer monitor on the desk along with a keyboard and a computer mouse. He is wearing a light blue birthday hat on the left side of his head and holding a paper that says “Happy Tellwell Birthday”. There is miscellaneous art and 7 gray hexagons on the walls behind him. He appears happy and cheerful.

Kickball tournament & tiki time!

Did you know there’s a group of Tellwellians that have been competing in a kickball league for the last few months? On Sunday, they wrapped up this season at the final tournament. After the competition, they made their way to a new local tiki bar, Starbird Lounge! Let’s just say, Lucas and Megan definitely project-managed their way through this drink!

A group of nine people is standing on a baseball field, all wearing matching orange "Stonewall Sports" t-shirts and smiling at the camera. They appear to be part of a recreational sports team, standing close together under the bright sunlight. Behind them is a chain-link fence, part of a baseball diamond, and the clear blue sky adds to the casual, fun atmosphere.
A man wearing glasses and a winter hat shares a drink with a red haired woman wearing a winter hat. They both have orange face paint and matching shirts, signifying they are on a sports team. They are both using straws to drink out of a cup shaped like a wooden barrel. There is a filter on the photo, making it appear as if it is a film photograph. They appear to be in a trendy bar setting with tropical aspects to the decor.
That wraps up this week! Keep an eye out for our next plog, coming October 25th!

The woman is smiling and giving two thumbs up and appears happy and proud. The man is holding his hands in front of himself and smirking with reassurance.
