Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!

New year, new plog! Did you miss us? Read on for some fun moments from the last few weeks and a quick Re:Week Re:Cap from our team!

This week’s writer

Hey readers, it’s Kari! I’m the video content specialist here at Tellwell and I have the pleasure of writing this week’s plog. As part of the film team, I conduct interviews, direct talent, write storylines, and so much more! Let’s get into it!

Happy Birthmas, Matt! 🎉

Before we were sent off into our Re:Week, we celebrated a very festive birthday for our lovely Lead Editor Matt! As a Christmas baby, we made sure he didn’t have to share the spotlight. We enjoyed birthday cake as a team, gave Matt his birthday pin to wear for the day, and took some time to hang out as a group. We appreciate everything you do, happy birthday Matt!

In-studio feedback ✏️

One thing we love to do at Tellwell is a live feedback session. Being able to bring Story Makers into our space and get their live reactions to their project, along with real time feedback and a shared first viewing, is always a fun way to bring them into the process. This has been a big project in the works for quite awhile and is nearing the finish line! Keep an eye out for this one, you don’t want to miss it!

Re:Week Re:Cap! ❄️

As you all know, Team Tellwell was OoO for the holidays. Let’s see what some of our team got up to with their time off!

Annie

I spent our time away from the office playing in the snow by getting out on my XC skis and snowshoes a few times. The rest of the time I spent with family and friends, probably consuming too much cheese and enjoying this stunning canapé table!

We spent time down in Wisconsin for Christmas with family: lots of good food and some time in the Dells. Then we spent some time in Fargo trying to catch up on my film backlog. Then for New Years we went to Seattle. We had good coffee and food, got some good finds (including a new pepper grinder at the Market) and also spent some good time outside hunting for sea glass and trolls.

Our family spent some relaxing time at home filling in a couple family gatherings in the mix. We also rang in the New Year with our annual family party and I tackled some cleaning projects I have been putting off.

I spent time with my family! We started the holidays off by going to Bentleyville for the first time in about a decade (my nephew loved it), and spent plenty of time out in the woods.

I spent Re:Week with my family! My parents spent the whole time here visiting from Florida and it was the first time we’ve spent the holidays all together in over 10 years!

I spent most of my Re:Week with friends and family, and enjoyed some solitude at the farm for a few days. My dogs got to play, I got to read, and we all enjoyed some slower mornings.

My family and I spent many cozy days at home for ReWeek. We stayed nearby with extended family for festive celebrations, and hosted my parents from Minneapolis for New Years. We were truly in hibernation mode—or as close as we could get while wrangling (we use that term often and in the most tender way) two active bear cubs and a doggo.

That wraps up this week! Keep an eye out for our next plog, coming January 16th!
