Welcome, friends!

Hello, September! Man, this year has just flown by, huh? I can’t believe that it’s almost fall. Pumpkin Spice is in the air, pumpkins are on their way, and I just recently unearthed my flannel collection so you could say that I’m ready.

Anyway, enough about me. Let’s check out what the Tellwell crew has been up to over the last week here in the Plog (that’s short for photo blog, in case you didn’t know).

Smoke Signals and Camera Clicks: BBQ Adventures in Bozeman, Montana.

The film team of Matt, Jordan, and Lucas meandered their way over to Bozeman, Montana to join our dear friends Kenyon Noble at the Montana Pitmaster Classic, a competition and event hosted for the Gallatin Valley YMCA. Professional and amateur contestants from all over the US and Canada come to compete for the Montana State Championship of BBQ in the categories of chicken, pork ribs, pork, and brisket. Our crew had a fiery time enjoying various meats and filming everything they could get their hands on.

Emma B. Takes the Stage

A new teammate has hit the ground running at Tellwell. Meet Emma Beyer, our new Project Coordinator supporting a major client in higher education. With experience in education and journalism, she’s the perfect gal for the role. Welcome, Emma!

“I’m excited to work with so many passionate, talent people. I’m always so impressed by the work Tellwell does and how much they’re involved in the community. Looking forward to being apart of it all!” – Emma B.

Designer Dish Session at the Studio

I’m excited to share a little video project from our team! Introducing, Discussions with a Designer, where I sat down with Sandie and Emma to chat about what they like about recent rebrands of popular companies. This was a “capstone” project of sorts for our film intern, Alayna, this past summer. Here’s what Alayna had to say about the video:

“Being a lead editor on the Discussions with a Designer project was so incredibly educational and rewarding for me. I was able to have creative freedom on the project, and work with others to combine and merge ideas into what eventually became Discussions with a Designer! It was a great experience to work with people who have years of experience in their respective fields, but who never made me feel lesser. They viewed me as an equal, encouraged me, valued my opinion, and supported me and my ideas. This was an experience I don’t believe I could’ve gotten anywhere else, and words cannot adequately describe how incredibly grateful I am to have gotten the chance to work with so many amazing artists and creatives.”

Thank you for checking in with us! See you next week. ????
