Film Festival + Competition coming up soon!
The FirstLink Film Festival is fast approaching. We’re excited to be partnering with them to bring the topic, “Silence Speaks Aloud”, to The Fargo Theatre.
This festival encourages young people to learn about suicide prevention and mental health in an innovative way: through storytelling and video.
The Festival itself will be showing submissions and winners from across the state on April 28th, 2022. Doors open at 6:45pm, and the show begins at 7:15pm.
Fargo Docs – An Idea Come to Life
This past Wednesday was the launch of Fargo Docs, a documentary series, presented by Tellwell Story Co. (that’s us!). A huge thank you to everyone who came out to watch the first film, Kurt Vonnegut: Unstuck in Time.
Fargo Docs began as an impassioned idea developed over a few drinks in Montana. Nobody was showing documentaries in Fargo – and when they were, nobody knew about them! We envisioned creating a community around these inspirational stories, ones that folks wouldn’t be able to find on streaming services or in a traditional theatre. We wanted to bottle up a little bit of energy from Sundance, Tribeca, and South by Southwest and unleash it here, in the community we love.
We were so thrilled with the huge turnout, and we’re looking forward to the next film, which shows on May 8th at the Fargo Theatre (tickets coming soon).
Getting Crafty with Craftwell
The title of this section has absolutely nothing to do with what we did with Craftwell, sorry for the misdirection… I just thought it sounded nice.
This past week we got together with our friends at Craftwell to do a few reshoots for a storytelling film we’re creating with them.
We always enjoy the time we get to spend with Chris, Mike, and the crew, and this time was no different.
Through the Looking Glass
Tellwell Headquarters got a face lift this past week. We got a little sick of of the corrugated plastic walls covering our two conference rooms – they just were not sound proof enough for our wide-open office.
So… we put up some glass! Not only does it looks so nice and spiffy, it also makes those rooms so incredibly sound proof.
Hopefully now our conference calls won’t be interrupted by Kevin alerting the entire building that the UPS man has arrived.
A Fresh New Look
We’re so excited to join one of our lovely non-profit clients, Hopeful Heart Project, in announcing their new brand that we’ve been working on.
Our designers and the HHP team have created a brand, look, and voice that we’re all so excited to share with the world.
