Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!

Lots going on near and far, and also it’s food truck season again–the most magical season of all. Let’s see what Team Tellwell was up to this week!

A mural that says “Welcome to San Jose”

This week’s writer

Hi, it’s your neighborhood Lead Editor Matt Prigge with my second Plog ever. I thought about making this Plog a video, as that is perhaps more aligned with my ✨passions✨and ✨skillset✨, but decided I better stick with the system – for now at least.

That being said, now that I have established more of a relationship with you all having 2 Plogs under my belt, I thought I’d share two truths and a lie about myself: I play the banjo, I’m a fan of “unhinged content”, and I have a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science. Just kidding, those are all true.

Whelp, enough about me – let’s get into this week’s Plog!

No way, San Jose! ✈️

From San Jose to South Dakota the film team had a bunch of production this week! Over the course of the week somehow we managed to fit in production for 5 films. We’re not sure how we managed it, but much like Lucas (Lead Project Manager) is able to cut whatever he’s eating in the second picture into more manageable bite size pieces, he’s able to organize production into manageable pieces (maybe not bite size! 😅). I mean, these photos are just from the first half of this week: Duncan (Partner + Director of Production), Kari ( Video Content Specialist), and Matt (Lead Editor) will be filming in town as you read this Plog; and Jordan (Cinematographer), Max (Founder & Chief Storyteller), and Lucas are still filming away on the road through Saturday!

Now we just need to finish editing all these films!

But before things got crazy, they actually got crazier! 🎨

I mean look at these colors at the Plains Art Spring Gala last weekend (before the film crew set out on their most recent journey)! Annie (Chief of Staff), Jenny (Storymaker Success Manager), Lucas (Lead Project Manager), and Megan (Project Manager) got to enjoy the festivities at the Plains Art Spring Gala. It’s really cool to see such a vibrant celebration of the arts right in our own backyard.

Roses are red, violets are blue 🌹

My sources tell me these photos from San Jose have nothing to do with what was filmed this week, but I thought they were too pretty to not include!

Two individuals stand in a rose garden looking at the camera with a smile.
Left image: A vibrant orange-red rose in full bloom, basking in warm golden sunlight. The background features more flowers and tall trees slightly out of focus, giving a dreamy garden feel. Right image: A person stands smiling with their arms slightly raised under a rose-covered archway in a garden during golden hour. The path, greenery, and scattered blooms frame the scene with a soft, summery glow.
Top image: A bright yellow rose in sharp focus in the foreground, with a person slightly blurred in the background photographing the scene. The sunlight creates a soft glow, enhancing the warm, golden-hour atmosphere. Bottom image: Two people walk through a rose-covered archway in a garden, with one carrying camera equipment. The path is surrounded by blooming flowers, and sunlight filters through the leaves, casting a warm, cinematic light.
That wraps up this week! Keep an eye out for our next Plog, coming May 16th!
