Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!

Three film shoots, two office tours, and a new four legged friend!? – WOW!

This week’s writer

Greetings and welcome! This week I have the pleasure of taking some time away from editing video to dabble in the world of words with a fresh new plog! That’s right, today’s plog is written by yours truly Lead Editor, Matt, of the film team here at Tellwell!

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: Filming Days!

Coming in strong after our retreat last week, on Monday the film team filmed with a local non-profit to share a powerful story of hope and change. Next we kept the cameras rolling on Tuesday to capture some heart warming moments of reflection and comradery with a couple pillars in the community. Then before the week was done, the film team had one more Thursday shoot with a local organization dedicated to bringing kickflips and Ollies to North Dakota.

In the picture we see a camera pointed at a woman being interviewed. To the right of the camera someone is conducting the interview.
Three men and a woman sit in comfortable chairs around an indoor fireplace. They are lit by two large lights. A man films them as they converse.
A young man performs a skateboard trick in midair. The moment is captured by a cameraman crouched down in front of him. Colorful graffiti is featured in the background and the scene is lit by a large light.

Inspiring the youths!

Here at Tellwell we love being part of the community! That includes sharing what we know with the next generation of creatives. This week that looked like a Wednesday visit from a group of students on a studio crawl through a bunch of local creative spaces in the area – put on by AAF-ND! Tellwell’s own Partner + Senior Film Producer, Duncan led the students throughout the crawl and was joined at Tellwell HQ by Senior Web Strategist Riley and Lead Project Manager Lucas to tell them about Tellwell and answer any questions.

On Friday, the MSUM Film Learning Community led by local celebrity* and film student Jake came to Tellwell to learn a bit about some of our work and how we make it!

*If you keep your eyes peeled, you might just see Jake in a Tellwell produced TV commercial or social media reel on a screen near you!

A new four-legged friend!

Project Manager Megan welcomed Winnie into her family this week and we were all lucky enough to meet the young pup! I think Winnie was a little nervous on her first day in the office, but we all look forward to seeing more of our new four-legged friend!

A medium sized dog with white fluffy hair and a pink nose looks at the camera. He is sitting on the lap of a woman in a blue comfy chair. The woman has dark hair and is wearing a rusty red sweater.

That wraps up this week! Keep an eye out for our next plog, coming November 29th!
