Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!

We’re back! After taking last week off, we have lots of updates to share. So buckle up and let’s dive into what we did the last two weeks!

Film shoot at the Ronald McDonald House

This week, our film team made a visit to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley. RMHC provides housing, meals, and support for families while their child is receiving medical care in the area. We filmed with two families who are actively using RMHC resources as they navigate their children’s health journeys, creating a strong bond during the process.

The day consisted of interviews, play time and pranks, a birthday party, and even the Red River Zoo. Being able to share the stories of these families is so rewarding, and we look forward to sharing more on this project in the future.

M3 Golf Tournament

On Wednesday, Tellwell hit the golf course for a day of not only work, but some play as well! We attended M3’s Annual Golf Tournament as participants and photographers. M3 is a local nonprofit that offers support and hosts events throughout the year that bring focus to mental health, especially within the youth sports community.

Our very own Project Manager Megan is Executive Director of the organization, so being able to support the cause by not only being a sponsor for the event, but coming along to photograph the scramble and have a team participate was so fun. With beautiful weather and a couple of hours on the green, it was an amazing day all around.

Yet another conference!

Another week, another conference! Senior Design Strategist Sandy, Senior Web Strategist Riley, and Graphic Designer Jen spent a few days in Minneapolis at the ICON12 conference. This conference is for illustrators, graphic artists, and image makers to explore the ever-changing world of illustration.

Featuring an education symposium, workshops, several presentations, a juried animation screening and more, their days were packed with learning and (of course) plenty of fun! We love diving head-first into education, so we can’t wait to see what these three take away from this experience!

RE:Week RE:Cap!

Last week, Team Tellwell spent our time RElaxing, REfreshing, and REcharging during RE:Week. Let’s see what some of the team got up to with their time off!

Lucas

“We welcomed a new family member: Dipper! Our RE:Week was full of walks, naps, playtime, and belly rubs.”
