Tellwell Story Co. partnered with Holbrook Farms to craft a reimagined brand and a compelling brand impact film to celebrate their journey, energize their identity, and support a renewed commitment to their mission.
A Reimagined Brand to Inspire a New Decade of Impact
From the moment you step onto the grounds of Holbrook Farms, there’s an unmistakable sense of belonging. As one community member put it, “The house holds all that love inside.” This ethos guided every aspect of the project, starting with a modern, vibrant logo that encapsulates the farm’s warmth and resilience.
The logo’s design draws inspiration from the natural beauty of Holbrook Farms, particularly its majestic maple tree and the rich, warm hues of autumn sunsets reflected in the lake. These elements not only symbolize the farm’s location but also its role as a haven of peace and renewal. The colors—bold yet comforting—evoke the vibrancy of fall and the serene moments of twilight, while the welcoming typography reflects the joy and hope the organization brings to its visitors.
Holbrook Farms is a sanctuary, offering retreats for widows, siblings, and family members of fallen soldiers. For these individuals, the farm represents more than a getaway—it’s a lifeline. “Holbrook gave me sisters, a whole pack of them,” shared one participant. “And it’ll just keep getting bigger and bigger.” By weaving these natural and emotional elements into the brand identity, we’ve created a design that honors the spirit of Holbrook Farms and the community it serves.
A Film to Honor and Inspire
To tell the full story of Holbrook Farms’ transformative impact, we produced a heartfelt brand impact film. Woven from intimate testimonials, the film provides a window into the lives of those who have found solace, connection, and healing at the farm.
The narrative showcases personal journeys, like that of a widow who attended her first retreat seven years ago: “It was the greatest experience ever. A loving, healing environment where you can actually let your hair down and be you.”
Another participant reflected on how Holbrook Farms addressed an often-overlooked need: “We are the forgotten survivors. Holbrook is amazing in supporting us, getting us the time to connect. For anybody with a fallen soldier, them being forgotten is our greatest fear.”
