“Tellwell the Podcast” is a platform for those passionate about using the power of storytelling to further a mission for a cause, non-profit, or to grow and expand a brand. We explore how stories can inspire action, foster connections, and create meaningful change in our world.

Recording Logistics

Where to Record

We have the option to record remotely or in person at the Tellwell Studio in downtown Fargo. If recording remotely, please choose a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted. If recording in person, we’ll provide you with all the details to ensure a smooth experience at our studio.

Recording Platform

We use Riverside.fm for our recordings. Please note that Riverside.fm only supports the Chrome browser. For a seamless recording experience, please make sure you have Chrome installed on your computer. You can find more information on how to join as a guest on Riverside.fm’s Best Practices Guide.

Headphones and Microphone

Wearing headphones, even if you don’t have a microphone, is essential. Headphones with a built-in microphone or a headset are recommended. This ensures better audio quality and prevents your recording from picking up the sound of my voice coming out of your computer.

A Note on Language

We edit lightly, mostly for flow and repetition, and do not censor strong language or curse words. However, we ask that guests exercise awareness of evolving language use. Content warnings will be provided for any language that may be offensive to maintain an ethic of care for our guests and listeners. We reserve the right to withhold distribution of any interview that does not meet our editorial standards.

Podcast Guest Release Form

This Podcast Guest Release Form ("Release") is entered into by the undersigned guest ("Guest") and Tellwell, LLC ("Company"), in connection with the Guest's participation in an episode of the podcast produced by the Company ("Podcast").

Grant of Rights: Guest hereby grants to the Company the irrevocable right and permission to record, use, publish, stream, sell, and distribute the Guest's voice, image, likeness, and any content provided by the Guest during the Podcast episode (collectively, "Guest Content") in any and all media, including but not limited to digital, print, and audio formats, for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes.
No Compensation: Guest acknowledges that they will not receive any compensation for their participation in the Podcast or for the Company's use of the Guest Content as described herein.
Release and Waiver: Guest hereby releases and forever discharges the Company, its affiliates, successors, assigns, agents, officers, directors, employees, and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, rights, promises, damages, and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use of the Guest Content, including but not limited to claims for invasion of privacy, infringement of rights of publicity, defamation, and any other personal and/or property rights.
Representation and Warranty: Guest represents and warrants that they have the full right, power, and authority to enter into this Release and to grant the rights granted herein.
Governing Law: This Release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Company is incorporated, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Entire Agreement: This Release contains the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to such subject matter.
