Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!

Hello fall! Mid-October has brought beautiful colors, creative inklings, and youthful adventures. Thanks for being here!

This week’s writer

Hi there! I’m Jennifer or Jen—Tellwell’s four-month new graphic designer. How brave that they let me put some words on the site this week! On the side, I am a painter and reader, and enjoy being goofy with my lil family. I’m happy to be here and hope you enjoy a plog of musings from our little corner of Fargo-Moorhead.

Filming or just fun?

This week, some teammates adjusted their schedules to account for film shoots at all times of the day, from sunrise to sunset!

Looking at these photos, one might get the idea that Tellwell is just playing around. While it’s true we play hard, our film team has been putting in time on late night shoots! They’ve been collaborating with a local university on some commercials for the upcoming year. Through personal stories and student actors, they’re capturing authentic, vibrant moments that resonate with education-minded audiences. Those students keep us sharp, reminding us how to stay youthful, fun, and—of course—wide awake.

Artistic Folk

Welcome to week 2 of a worldwide drawing endeavor. Check out last week’s plog to learn more about Inktober.

We love to feature Tellwell’s artistic Inktober participants and their drawings. We promise they have computers, but who can argue—time away from the screen is a treasure! For many on the team, moving and fine-tuning pixels is our work’s passion. However, activities that allow us to work with our hands can also produce some passionate work!

Full Team

As our trusted and wise chief storyteller Max reminded us this week, we are now in quarter four of the year—the “ber” months like October, November, December. A busy time for us, as is probably the case for many organizations and companies.

A group of people sitting on couches positioned in a circle, all facing each other, including a TV screen on wheels with someone joining virtually, all with a coffee table at the center. The atmosphere is pleasant, and everyone is engaged in conversation.

We love a good reminder: In times of strain and stress, remember to extend a hand of grace to others, as well as challenge attitudes—your own and your co-workers’. Anyone can have a case of the grumps and be forgiven. It’s also OK to remind yourself and others to realign with values in those moments! For us, we’re looking forward to a team retreat in a couple weeks to reconnect with each other away from the office. What will you do to stay aligned and united this season?

Team Farewell

And finally, at Tellwell, we take work seriously. We take lunchtime seriously. What we wish we didn’t have to do was say goodbyes. Seriously. Tuesday, we hosted our team lunch in honor of long-distance, creative, and hard-working project manager Emma for her last days as a Tellwellian. Emma joined us virtually—thanks to such technology, we know she’s only a screen-call away. It’s not goodbye—it’s “See you soon, Emma!”

A group of people sitting around a table in a casual office setting, enjoying food and drinks while watching a virtual meeting on a large screen. Several individuals are smiling and engaged in conversation, creating a warm, collaborative atmosphere. The background includes office decor, personal photos, and a screen on which two people are engaged with the group virtually, adding a relaxed and personal touch to the workspace.
That wraps up this week! Keep an eye out for our next plog, coming October 18th!
