Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!
This week was filled with photos, but we were able to curate some of our favorites for you!
Pressing matters
Founder and Storyteller in Chief Max’s living room has been full–to-bursting lately thanks to the blank shirts and hats he keeps around for Tellwell gear. Since we needed updated photos and have some folks on the team who haven’t been with us long enough to fill a closet with Tellwell gear, we held a pressing party this week!
Tellwellians picked out their favorite decals, patches, and logos to press on shirts, jackets, hats, and sweats. Creativity abounded. Special shout our to Event Designer Ashely for running the press for most of the day!
Say cheese!
We try to take updated photos regularly. Faces change, hair gets cut (or dyed), and we add new team members, so keeping an up-to-date photo library is a must. We often tap on Britta the Photographer to help us get some amazing headshots, team photos, and candid moments captured for perpetuity. We always love working with her.
Britta knows how to bring out the fun side of our zany group. She had us jumping and twirling as she snapped the shots. Many of us are more comfortable behind the camera, but Britta’s talent and warmth make any photoshoot with her a blast. We can’t wait to see (and share) the final photos!

A meaningful difference
We’ve been honored to work with the 4-6-3 Foundation and its annual film festival. This year, the 4-6-3 Foundation presented “Shine the Light: the Midwest Mental Health Film Festival.”
We were proud to sponsor the festival. All of us at Tellwell want to help break the stigma around mental health, uplift student filmmakers, and further the 4-6-3 Foundation’s mission. What’s more, Lead Editor Matt was one of the judges. Congratulations to all of the student filmmakers who submitted their work!
We can’t wait to see more from the 4-6-3 Foundation as they work to reduce stigma, build hope, and end suicide.
