The 2024 Sweetheart Ball
Saturday evening left our hearts full as several of us went out on the town for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley’s 35th annual Sweetheart Ball. We ate marvelous food, shared heartwarming moments, and even bid a little on a few of the auction items.
This year, one of our duties was helping with the photo booth. Cinematographer Jordan Ryan made sure that every person on that red carpet felt like a celebrity, while Senior Film Producer Duncan Williamson expertly captured every candid moment.

A little lunchin’ and a little learnin’
Waaaaaaay back in October, Chief of Staff Annie had us all write and submit our operators manuals – essentially, a guide to working with each of us. While each of us embraced the opportunity to learn a little bit about ourselves while putting the manual together, some of us may have found reading EVERYONE’S manual a bit daunting.
Once again, it was Annie to the rescue! She organized a lunch ‘n learn where each of us had 5 minutes to highlight the most important parts of our manuals for the team. With pizza and remote folks joining online, we all learned a lot about each other and had a pretty good time doing so.
