Welcome to Tellwell’s weekly Plog (photo-blog)!

This week we were out in the community, traveling for some filming, and even had a few visitors to the office. Let’s see what went down this week at Tellwell!

This week’s writer

Hi, I’m Jenny, Tellwell’s Story Maker Success Manager! I have the privilege of fostering relationships with our amazing Story Makers and serving as a community ambassador for Tellwell. Lately, I’ve been especially excited to help plan our upcoming WellTold Non-Profit Storytelling Conference happening on April 24th. I’d love to see you there—grab your ticket at www.welltoldconference.com!

🌟 Speed Collisions, Storytelling & Studio Crawls — Oh My!

It was a week packed with connection, inspiration, and creativity out in the community! Things kicked off with Jenny stepping into mentor mode at the FMWF Chamber’s International Collisions event, where 100 mentors from all industries gathered for a high-energy round of speed networking. Each “collision” was eight minutes of fast-paced insight-sharing with curious minds—it was electric! Luckily for Jenny, her first “collision” was our amazing Story Maker, Jen from Haven Midwest.

Midweek, our very own Chief of Staff Annie Wood helped StartUpBREW get the morning percolating by kicking off the TEDx Takeover event. The lineup featured powerhouse speakers Joe Bergum and Ashley Morken—one of our incredible Story Makers! (BTW, TEDx Fargo tickets are now live—grab yours here!)

A woman in a sequined jacket holds a microphone while speaking, while a man with shoulder-length hair and another woman with a topknot listen attentively. The backdrop features a blue banner with a logo and raindrop designs. The audience, seen from behind, watches the discussion in a modern, industrial-style venue with exposed ductwork and large windows.

To wrap it all up, Duncan and Jenny threw on their AAF-ND board hats and joined the always-awesome Studio Crawl, where students packed the event space to soak up creative wisdom. Duncan’s been doing a rockstar job as Chair of the Education Committee, and it was amazing to see the student engagement he’s been working hard to build.

This image shows a spacious, industrial-style room with high ceilings, large garage doors, and exposed ductwork. A group of people is seated at black tables arranged in a semi-circle, attentively listening to a man in a red cap and dark jacket who is standing and speaking. A woman in a white shirt and glasses stands nearby holding a notebook. The walls are decorated with colorful rolled-up backdrops, a "Welcome" sign, and a mirror. On the left, a small boutique-like area with clothing and a wreath is visible. The setting has a casual and collaborative atmosphere, with attendees taking notes and drinks on the tables.

🛹 Skating Into Our Hearts

We were floored when our friends at the North Dakota Skateboarding Association rolled in to gift us a custom skateboard! Their Giving Hearts Day success was epic, and we’re proud to have played a role in sharing their mission through impact videos. Check them out and give ’em a follow!

🎥 Lights, Camera, Weather?

The film crew braved all the elements on their road trip to Devils Lake for Day 1 of filming at Four Winds High School. Rain, sleet, sunshine—you name it, they drove through it. They wrapped with a quick visit to Lucas’ family farm and they left with full hearts (and full memory cards). More film days ahead!

🍕 Pizza, Presents, and Perfect Hair

This week’s team lunch turned into a full-on cuteness collision! We got a visit from sweet baby Cyrus Klath, who came to show off his show-stopping blonde hair. We gifted him a tiny Tellwell onesie and showered Jen and Travis with hugs and baby gifts. A+ pizza party content.

This image shows a group of ten people, including a baby in a car seat, gathered in a modern kitchen space with black cabinets and a green accent wall. Some individuals are wearing branded clothing with the name "Fidwell." A woman in the foreground, dressed in teal, is crouching with a smartphone displaying a photo, smiling at the camera. Others in the group are standing and posing cheerfully, with some wearing flannel or vests. The setting has white stools around a light-colored countertop, and decorative heart-shaped signs are visible on the wall.

That wraps up this week! Keep an eye out for our next plog, coming April 4th!
This image shows four people posing together indoors, standing on a red carpeted floor with dark curtains in the background. They are smiling and leaning towards each other playfully. One person, a bald man wearing glasses and a brown shirt with a plaid jacket, is holding a bag of popcorn and a drink. The others are dressed casually, with one wearing a vest featuring the Ronald McDonald House Charities logo. The atmosphere appears cheerful and relaxed.
